Hello everyone, Just got cleared hard drive and don't have any CD's that came with computer. I went to HP web site and downloaded most of the drivers but unfortunately cant get one for Ethernet card. There is also a few components installed on this computer that hasn't been recognized by Windows XP.
It seems to me that I don't have any dedicated cards except Video (which i already found driver for). But I have no idea how to find out what kind of network card do i have. My guess was that since there are no dedicated cards installed - from list of i decided that it has to be one integrated witch again from would be only Which when installed doesn't work. It says that something is not found.

I looked in device manager and there is five different devices that has not been recognized by Windows XP. One of them I figured was some type of chip which I found and successfully install driver for.
Then Network Card which does show VEN_8086 but after driver installation could not find any devices installed on this computer. I went to Best buy and solved this problem with new 'Open Item' network card for $9 which worked perfect! But after installation of it and connection to the Internet I tried to play movie (this whole setup was initially for home entertainment system) and realize that I have no sound card installed.
