Since some time I am no longer using the standard FS option for joystick controls, I am using the registered version of FSUIPC. Now the button assignment of 'Engine Starter Button' to FSUIPC control 'Starter1 Set' failed, BUT it works with standard FSX control settings for 'Starter 1'. Many other buttons are working with FSUIPC. Do you have an idea about this failure??

20 2010,19:22 The mappings we support are listed in the manual, including 'Starter 1 On/Off'. The reason the 'Starter 1 Set' isn't supported is because it's not a native FSX event. FSUIPC spoofs it by reading the current starter value and sending a toggle command if the value is different from the set parameter. (I think it used to be an FS9 event, which is why FSUIPC still retains it for compatibility, but now has to perform the functionality itself, as described above.) Another reason we specifically chose the events listed in the manual is so that people could still map all the switches using the default FSX settings if they wanted to without having to buy FSUIPC.
