Plustek Program Was Unable To Load Your Scanner

Jan 30, 2017. Finding a scanner driver that successfully produces a scanned image without causing an error solves the problem. If all of the scanner drivers produce errors, use the TWAIN_32 Twacker application to check if your scanner's drivers are working properly. Team Sleep Formant Rapidshare Free. Exit ABBYY FineReader. Download Twack_32.zip. For those cameras failed to be automatically added into the system with 'One-button Installer', a user can log on the system as 'admin' and manually search and add them into the system. Note: it only works in the condtion that the disk drive is not formatted yet by holding the button for more than 3 seconds and release it. Jun 22, 2002. PROBLEM: 'Program was unable to find your scanner. Please ensure the scanner's drivers are already installed and the scanner is properly connected'. CAUSE: When launching TextBridge Pro 9.0, it tries to communicate with the default TWAIN driver on your system. If there is no TWAIN driver or scanner.

I am trying to solve the problem that I thought was only an HP issue with missing or failed Twain Drviers. I could not scan from most applications or the HP Solution Center or Scan to PC. SO, after 15 re-installs of the HP software for the perfectly good Officejet 6500 AIO, I gave it to some one running Windows 7 on a x32 machine. The problem is similar on the NEW Epson WF 3540 AIO. When the laptop starts an error message appears that the TWAINI Data Source - was unable to load the necessary components and the program will terminate. I suggest I re-install the software. And I did and the result is exactly the same.

This problem of Twain drivers either missing or incompatible with some versions of Windows and some MAC machines too is a bigger problem than the attention it seems to be getting from the manufacturers of the devices that scan. Now, has anyone found a solution that gets the TWAIN Driver installed or loaded? I don't want some workaround that gives me more work to do and lost of some functions that the equipment is supposed to have. Last night I asks a Microsoft Windows tech on the Answerdesk (chat) and he wanted me to pay $149 for support and he promised he could solve the problem. I just bought a new device and my WIndows 8 Pro is just past the coverage period with Microsoft. Solutions if there are any for the systemic problem many of us have should cost more money, as much as some of the devices we are trying to install or replaced good devices with new one for. Sorry that I am ranting some here but I am at wits end with this problem.

Today I called Epson support and after reaching a high level tech she helped me solve it. We uninstalled the scanner driver utility. Checked the Windows/Twain_32 folder and deleted all folders for my Neat Mobile Scanner. Note: the TWAIN_64 folder was not affected.

It does contain a Neat driver. So, I learned that the Epson software is running the driver in the 32 bit. Reinstalled the Scan Utility from a fresh download from the support site. Opened the Scan Settings for the Epson, and changed the detected Scanner to Network. Local is a default.

Scan works as it should in all programs that use it, including the Epson Scan and ABBYYS Fine Reader software. On restarting the computer several times, after step 5, no errors appear. My Neat Mobile Scanner works. So, it is using the Twain_64 drivers. It appears as an available scanner in some other programs.

My HP Flatbed Scanner is still only using WIA and that is a problem I may not be able to solve. But, I may try the approach above to see if I can get it to use the TWAIN driver. Else, it works okay with the WIA. Epson support was sure they could solve it and they did in about an hour and a half. I advise anyone with a similar problem with other manufacturers to ask to escalate to the next level or supervisors if they first level techs (reading from the same stuff most of us can find on their websites) cannot fix it. I cannot say that the drivers will be good since some may not have giving us drivers for the Windows version we are using.

So what was happening was some sort of conflict among the scanners. Brenda, the TigerWizard; a creative fierce wise woman, with soft fur.
